Visiting Shiroi Koibito Park Inspired by Hikakin’s YouTube Video
We decided to visit Shiroi Koibito Park in Sapporo after watching a YouTube video by Hikakin, one of Japan’s most famous creators.
He introduced fun chocolate-making experiences and limited sweets, and our family immediately said, “Let’s go there!”
The park turned out to be even more enjoyable than we expected — full of delicious surprises and nostalgic charm.
Why We Chose This Spot
After seeing Hikakin’s video featuring the park, both my child and I were excited to experience it in real life.
It looked like the perfect mix of entertainment, sweets, and factory magic — something truly Japanese that you can’t find elsewhere.
Factory Tour: Surprisingly Fun for All Ages

The factory tour was a highlight!
We were amazed to see how the famous Shiroi Koibito cookies are made right before our eyes.
Watching the smooth production lines and skilled workers was fascinating for both kids and adults.
The whole place smells like sweet white chocolate — an experience that engages all your senses.
So Many Unique Souvenirs
The souvenir shop was packed with exclusive sweets, limited boxes, and special flavors that you won’t find anywhere else.
We spent a long time choosing gifts — from classic cookies to original chocolate sets.
Just browsing the colorful displays was fun enough to make time fly.
Cookie-Making Experience: Book Early!
We wanted to join the cookie-making class, but when we checked the reservation site the day before, it was already full!
This activity is extremely popular, so we strongly recommend booking a few days in advance.
It’s a great hands-on experience where you can design and decorate your own cookies to take home.
Pancake Plan: Next Time for Sure!
One of the highlights from Hikakin’s video was the fluffy pancake, which looked irresistible.
Unfortunately, we were too full that day — but it’s definitely on our list for the next visit!
Surprisingly Easy Access from Central Sapporo
Getting there was much easier than expected.
From our hotel near Sapporo Station, it was only about a 15-minute taxi ride.
You can also reach the park by subway (Miyanosawa Station) or bus, making it convenient even for short stays.
Final Thoughts: A Sweet Stop for Any Traveler in Sapporo
Whether you’re traveling with kids, friends, or solo, Shiroi Koibito Park is one of those places that simply makes you smile.
From the factory tour to hands-on experiences and sweet treats, every corner feels like a tiny chocolate wonderland.
If you watched Hikakin’s video and thought “That looks fun!” — you’re absolutely right.
