Arriving Early: How Crowded Is It?
I visited on a weekend in July.
I started lining up at 7:30am, and was finally able to enter the park just after 9:00am.

Entry Tips
- Best spot: Line up at the very left side of the South Entrance (near the parking lot) – it was the smoothest!
- Summer advice: Bring sun protection (hat, parasol, sunscreen), plenty of drinks, and a portable fan. The July sun is no joke!
Real Wait Times for Fantasy Springs Attractions (Morning to Afternoon)
Here were the standby wait times on my visit (weekend, morning to afternoon):
- Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey: approx. 90–100 min
- Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival: approx. 40–50 min
- Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure: approx. 30–40 min

Disney Premier Access (DPA) – My Experience
What is DPA?
DPA lets you pay to reserve a specific time slot for popular attractions via the Tokyo Disney Resort app. It’s highly recommended for first-timers!
My DPA Story
Right after entering, I bought a DPA for Frozen Journey – but I accidentally picked the earliest available time without thinking…
Because of this, I had less free time to queue for other rides. Big rookie mistake!
- Note: Frozen Journey DPA was sold out before 10:00am! If you want it, buy as soon as you enter.
- DPA for Rapunzel and Peter Pan was still available even in the afternoon.
Common Beginner Mistakes & Pro Tips
❌ What I Did Wrong
Booked DPA for the earliest slot and lost flexibility for other rides.
✅ How to Avoid It
- Buy DPA for Frozen Journey right after entry (it sells out fast).
- Pick a time after 11:00am so you can queue for other rides first.
- In the morning, head straight to Peter Pan or Rapunzel for shorter waits.

Sample Itinerary: How to Beat the Crowds
1. 7:30–9:00
Wait in line at the South Entrance (far left side is fastest).
2. 9:00–9:15
Enter the park and immediately buy DPA for Frozen Journey (choose a time after 11:00am).
3. 9:15–10:30
Queue for Peter Pan or Rapunzel and enjoy the ride!
4. 10:30–12:00
Grab merch or take an early lunch (avoid peak crowds).
5. After 12:00
Use DPA for Frozen Journey, then relax and explore the new area.

Extra: Cute Limited Goods I Bought
At the Fantasy Springs Hotel shop, I bought a super cute hotel-exclusive letter set!

Family Photo Spots: Where to Take the Best Pics
There are lots of adorable spots for kids and families besides the rides.
Check out the character photo areas!
