札幌といえば味噌ラーメン。夜ご飯にせっかく北海道に来たので「ラーメンが食べたい！」と思い、行ってみることにしました。
前日にタクシーの運転手さんに教えてもらった「すみれ」へ向かうことに。
私は10年以上前に一度行ったことがありましたが、子供たちは初めて！
子連れでも行ける？ラーメン店選び
北海道に着いた日に乗ったタクシーの運転手さんに「小さい子どもがいても入れるラーメン屋さんありますか？」と聞いたところ、「すみれはテーブル席が少しあるから行きやすいかもしれませんよ」と教えていただきました。
ホテルからタクシーで向かうか迷いましたが、せっかくなので札幌の街をお散歩しながら歩いて向かうことにしました。
名店「すみれ」へ行ってみたが…
しばらく歩いて「この角を曲がったらすみれのはず」と息子がGoogleマップを見ながら言ったその時、角にできていた大行列が目に入りました。
嫌な予感がして近づいてみると、まさかのすみれの行列！お店の階段から曲がり角を越えて、数十人の列ができていました。
子連れでこの行列は厳しいと判断し、潔く断念。別のお店を探すことにしました。
本場札幌味噌ラーメンの有名店「すみれ」。行列はすごかったけれど、やっぱり一度は行ってみたい名店！

札幌の地下街がすごい！
雪も降っていたので、たまたま見つけた地下への入り口から札幌駅の地下街へ入ってみることに。
初めて札幌の地下街を歩いてびっくり。お店がたくさんあって、地下を歩く人の方が多いのでは？と思うほどにぎやかでした。
「寳龍 アピア店」でラーメン
しばらく歩いていると、息子が「ラーメン屋さんがある！」と看板を発見。
入ってみるとそこは「ラーメンの寳龍 アピア店」。
並ぶこともなくすぐに席へ。しかもキッズチェア、子供用のスプーン・フォーク・食器まで出してくださって本当にありがたかったです。
そしてラーメンもとても美味しくて、大満足！

空港でもラーメンを満喫
帰りの空港では、これまたタクシーの運転手さんに教えていただいた「白樺山荘」へ。
こちらもキッズチェアもあり、とても美味しかった！

子連れラーメンに優しい札幌
ラーメン屋さんは子連れにはハードルが高いかと不安でしたが、実際に行ってみると温かく受け入れてくださって、感動しました。
もっと子連れで行ける札幌ラーメン店を知りたくなりました！
息子が行きたがっていた、ヒカキンさんも行かれた「麺屋 彩未」も大人気で、１００人並んでいるそう、、

1. Can You Take Kids to a Ramen Shop?
On our trip to Hokkaido, we were excited to try some famous miso ramen for dinner!
Based on a tip from a taxi driver the day before, we decided to try heading to the well-known ramen shop “Sumire.”
It had been over 10 years since I visited, but it was my kids’ first time.
When I asked a taxi driver if there were ramen shops suitable for small children, he suggested Sumire because it had a few table seats.
We debated taking a taxi but decided instead to walk and explore the snowy streets of Sapporo.
2. The Line at Sumire
Just as my son said, “Turn left at that corner,” we spotted a huge line.
Sure enough, it was Sumire — with a line of dozens of people from the stairs to around the block.
With small kids, waiting that long wasn’t realistic, so we gave up and searched for another option.
3. Discovering Sapporo’s Underground
Since it was snowing, we entered a nearby underground passage and were amazed!
There were so many stores, and it seemed like even more people walking underground than above.
4. Lucky Find: Houryu Apia Branch
While walking and chatting about what to eat, my son pointed out a ramen sign. We decided to try it.
It was Ramen Houryu (Apia Branch). There was no wait, and we were seated immediately.
They had kids’ chairs, child-sized utensils, and dishes — super helpful!
The ramen itself was delicious. We were all very satisfied!
5. Last Bowl at the Airport
Before leaving Sapporo, we tried “Shirakaba Sansou” at the airport — another place recommended by a taxi driver.
It was also excellent. Honestly, Hokkaido ramen rarely disappoints.
6. Sapporo is More Family-Friendly Than Expected
I used to think ramen shops were tough with kids, but Sapporo had many that welcomed families.
Now I want to discover even more family-friendly ramen spots in Sapporo!
